St. Rose of Lima School in Paso Robles was formed in 1958 and is currently presided over by Fr. Roberto Vera and Sister Rebeca Muñoz, Principal. St. Rose School is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and the Western Catholic Educational Association (WCEA). They offer a Catholic educational experience as well as a number of programs.

About the Green Churches Initiative

Inspired by Pope Francis’ message of environmental stewardship in his encyclical Laudato Si, Greenpower began our Green Churches Initiative in 2016 in collaboration with the Roman Catholic Diocese of Monterey of California and Santa Cruz-based energy efficiency and solar experts Mynt Systems. Our goal is to transform Diocese churches and schools into beacons of sustainable energy production by installing renewable energy systems like solar as well as energy efficiency measures like LED lighting retrofits. Not only will this help protect the environment, it will help save the Diocese millions of dollars that can be used for education and charitable ministries.
